November 11 – November 17
This week kicked off with a work event at Full Speed in Downtown Phoenix. Back when I lived downtown, I used to live right across the street from Full Speed, so I had visited before, but I was excited for the chance to return. I personally prefer the chicken over the ribs, but both are a solid choice. And let’s not forget about the sides! Their fries are perfectly crispy, and the coleslaw, made with pickles, is a standout. If you’re a pickle lover, this is a side dish you have to try.

A few weeks ago, I got into a little fender bender, and Tuesday was finally the day to take my car into the shop for repairs. My parents drove up to give me a ride home, and we decided to make a lunch date out of it. We went to The Herb Box, a longtime favorite of mine that I hadn’t visited in a while. Every time I go, I always order the same thing: the Vegan Nosh Board. It’s hands down one of my favorite dishes from any restaurant in Arizona. Essentially, it’s four appetizers combined into one plate, and the standout for me is the Kale Pakora—it’s perfection. On Wednesday, I headed to Caesars Republic for their Christmas Tree Lighting event to capture some content for work. We counted down as the massive tree lit up, and Santa even made an appearance! Afterward, we headed up to the rooftop bar for drinks and live music, surrounded by twinkling Christmas trees and an incredible view of Camelback Mountain. It was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season!

Friday night kicked off with a charity event for work at Volanti, a restaurant with a front-row seat to the runway at Scottsdale Airport. The location couldn’t be more unique—watching private jets land and take off up close always adds an extra touch of excitement to the evening. After capturing content for the event, I headed home to watch the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight. We decided to start the night at Barstool Scottsdale but soon got hungry, so we headed across the street to Diego Pops. It had been years since I’d been there, and it was so fun to be back. I tried the watermelon mint margarita, and let me tell you—it was so fresh and flavorful.
